Building on Success from the World Travel Awards 2025
This victory marks the second consecutive year that Phong Nha-Ke Bang has achieved this remarkable double win, having secured the exact same titles at the World Travel Awards 2025.
Throughout the 2026 season, the Park Management Board actively engaged local communities and global travelers to support the voting campaign. Winning these awards year after year significantly boosts the destination’s international visibility and appeal.

A Strong Boost for Sustainable Eco-Tourism
Winning two major titles at the World Travel Awards 2026 brings both pride and responsibility to Phong Nha-Ke Bang. The recognition also creates new opportunities for local tourism businesses to promote responsible travel, professional guiding services, and eco-friendly experiences.
However, success must go hand in hand with environmental protection. Therefore, local operators continue to focus on responsible travel, strictly limiting human impact while protecting delicate cave ecosystems.
In conclusion, these two awards reaffirm Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park’s position as one of Asia’s leading nature and eco-tourism destinations. At the same time, the recognition highlights the importance of sustainable tourism, responsible cave exploration, and the long-term protection of the park’s unique natural heritage.
