In 1992, the cave was discovered by the British Caving Association. Due to the intense darkness covering the corners of the cave, they called it “ Dark”. The cave is 5.258m long, 80m high and 50m wide, including 2 doors: front door adjacent to Chay River (30m high, 10m wide) and back door (50m high, 20m wide).
