This is an active expedition with jungle trekking, uneven terrain and water activities. In addition, the tour includes technical climbing. Therefore, participants should have good physical fitness and feel comfortable with outdoor adventures.

Day 1: Arem Village – Kling Cave – Underground Kayaking

07:30–08:00 – Hotel Pickup in Phong Nha

Your adventure team will pick you up from your accommodation in Phong Nha and begin the journey towards the expedition area.

08:30–08:45 – Visit the 8 Lady Cave Memorial

Stop at the historic 8 Lady Cave Memorial before continuing deeper into the national park.

09:45 – Arrive at Arem Village

Meet the expedition team and receive your safety equipment. Then, prepare for the trek into the forest.
Before starting, you will also learn about the Arem community. In particular, your guide will introduce you to their connection with the surrounding forests and mountains.

10:00–10:45 – Trek to Vom Cave

Begin trekking through the forest while learning more about the landscape and local Arem culture.

10:45–12:00 – Trek to Kling Cave

Continue through the jungle towards Kling Cave and begin exploring the cave environment.

12:00–13:30 – Lunch at Kling Cave

Enjoy lunch near the entrance of Kling Cave and take a short rest before the afternoon adventure.

13:30–16:30 – Underground Kayaking on the Arem River

After lunch, enter deeper into Kling Cave. Then, begin kayaking along the underground Arem River.
Along the way, you will paddle between limestone walls in complete darkness. As a result, this underground journey becomes one of the most memorable experiences of the expedition.

16:30–Evening – Camping Inside Kling Cave

After kayaking, return to the campsite inside Kling Cave. First, change into dry clothes and take some time to relax.
Later, enjoy dinner with the expedition team. Finally, settle into your campsite and spend the night inside the cave.

Day 2: A-Cu Cave – Kling Cave – 40-Meter Arem Wall

07:00–08:30 – Breakfast

Wake up inside Kling Cave and enjoy breakfast at the campsite before preparing for another day of exploration.

08:30–11:30 – Trek to A-Cu Cave

Trek through the surrounding wilderness and explore A-Cu Cave, another impressive part of the expedition area.

12:00–13:15 – Lunch & Rest

Enjoy lunch and take time to recharge before the most challenging part of the journey.

13:15–16:30 – Deep Kling Cave Exploration & Arem Wall Challenge

After lunch, return deeper into Kling Cave and continue exploring its underground passages.

Next comes one of the biggest challenges of the expedition: the 40-meter Arem Wall. You will use professional climbing and safety equipment during this activity. In addition, the adventure team will support you throughout the climb.

Finally, leave the cave and trek back towards Arem Village.

16:30–17:00 – Return to Arem Village

Leave the cave system and trek back towards Arem Village.

17:00–18:30 – Return to Phong Nha

Transfer back to Phong Nha, marking the end of your Arem Expedition 2 Days 1 Night.
