From Ha Noi to Cha Loi 2 days tour

On August 10, the railway industry officially put into operation the high-quality tourist train Ha Noi – Dong Hoi, Quang Tri province, opening a new and promising journey for domestic and foreign tourists. The train route not only helps shorten the geographical distance, but also becomes a “bridge” to help tourists easily access Quang Tri – a land of history, peace and pristine beaches with majestic nature associated with heritage.

Cha Loi Cave is a cave system located in Ngan Thuy commune, Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province ( now it’s Quang Tri province). This cave is known as Ong Giap cave or Dai Tuong cave ( General cave). This place used to be a stopover for General Vo Nguyen Giap and Vietnamese soldiers during the resistance war against America.

About 45km to the southwest of Dong Hoi city center, Quang Tri province, this place will give you a feeling of peace, a completely new experience. It is an experience of wilderness, conquest and endless natural beauty.

To admire the magical beauty of stalactites, the mystery of the underground river combined with the wildness of the mountains and forests… visitors will experience a level 3 adventure challenge, crossing cassava fields (Southerners call it cassava) walking among vast valleys, exploring, and swimming in underground rivers with cold water of about 22 degrees Celsius. After the journey to explore Cha Loi Cave, visitors will rest and enjoy the fresh air of “Love Valley” – a camping spot, a cool check-in on this journey!

Exploring Cha Loi Cave is not a tour where you can buy tickets at the gate like regular tours, because it is exclusively operated by Netin Travel Company. Although the name Cha Loi is still little known, this place gives visitors the opportunity to fully experience the wild, peaceful beauty without the crowds and hustle and bustle like many other famous tourist destinations in Quang Binh.

Night 1: Ha Noi – Dong Hoi

You should be at Hanoi station about 30 minutes – 1 hour before departure time.

20:05: JBQ1 train departs to Quang Binh. You will sleep overnight on the train.

Day 2: Explore Cha Loi cave – Coi village – Love valley ( group tour)

6:10: Train arrives Dong Hoi station. You are free to go around to enjoy breakfast in the station area.

8:00: Car and guide pick you up, then start your 2-day journey to explore Cha Loi cave. It is located in Le Thuy district, about 45km to the southwest of Dong Hoi city center.

Depart to Ho Chi Minh Road east branch to visit the Long Dai ferry is the artery traffic point on Ho Chi Minh road which is the coordinates of the fire during the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1972

After hearing about the introduction to Long Dai ferry, you take some pictures then continued the journey.

09:30: Come to the company’s operating center in Sung village. Here you will be provided with some equipments for cave exploration such as: flashlight, sandals, gloves… Our tour guide will show you how to use the device, a number of equipment to prepare for your adventure, as well as some principles of cave exploration. After that, you will experience the unique feature of Nuoc cave, also known as Ong Giap cave according to the calling of the locals.

After experiencing in Hang Nuoc, you will arrive at the A72 information station entrusted the task of ensuring communication for the Southern battlefield.

Then you come to the journey to discover Cha Loi cave. Here visitors will be experience many activities like walking, crawling, climbing, swimming to experience the journey more than 4km long in the cave. In addition to admiring the magnificent stalactite system as well as the adventure experience, visitors will also come to the beautiful tunnel of love.

13:00: You return out of cave and enjoy a lunch with local food organized by the company. After lunch, take a short rest.

15:00: Depart to Coi village where there is a love valley of Bru -Van Kieu people.

16:00: Set up tents, rest and have a dinner with BBQ style prepared by the company. In the evening, visitors will be able to participate in group games with guides and porters.

Day 3: Trekking – Stream bathing ( group tour)

08:00: After breakfast, visitors will learn about the cultural and economic life of Bru-Van Kieu in Hang Coi village.

10:00: Departure to visit and experience Kieu Cave. Kieu cave with beautiful and outstanding stalactites. To get to Kieu cave, visitors will have to climb about 300m.

Then you go trekking through the Truong Son mountains and forests and through the stilt houses of the Bru Van Kieu people: Trekking and swimming.

13:00: Lunch at Nuoc Lanh Stream. Then take a rest.

15:00: Tourists will return to the car park, then on the way to be back to Dong Hoi.

16:30: Car and guide will drop you off at station/airport. Tour finishes!
